Quality Strategy 2026–2029

Our Quality Strategy sets out how we will improve care for people across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. It focuses on what matters most to patients, families and colleagues: keeping people safe, providing effective treatment, improving experience, and reducing health inequalities.

Our aim is simple. We want to reduce harm, help people get better outcomes, and make sure care is kind, respectful and fair for everyone.

We will do this by:

  • Keeping people safe and learning from mistakes to prevent harm
  • Providing effective care based on the best evidence, in the right place and at the right time
  • Improving experience so people feel listened to, supported and treated with dignity
  • Reducing health inequalities so everyone can access high‑quality care, no matter who they are or where they live

We will work closely with patients, colleagues, partners and local communities to shape and improve services together.

By 2029, we aim to deliver safer, faster and more personalised care—helping every person who uses our services feel supported, respected and able to achieve the best possible outcomes.
