Whether you’re thinking about your future, looking for your first job, upskilling or even looking to change your career, be sure to consider an NHS apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships at BTH can support you into your first job, giving you the opportunity to learn and gain invaluable experience, knowledge, skills and behaviours, all of which lead to a nationally recognised Apprenticeship Standard.

We invested more than £1m in apprenticeships last year.

Our apprenticeships offer a mix of on and off-the-job training in a supportive environment. See below just some of the features and benefits of choosing an apprenticeship at BTH:

  • Get hands on training in a real work environment. Work side-by-side with qualified, experienced professionals who will help you develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours through rewarding roles.
  • Earn a wage while achieving a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll earn while you learn and BTH will cover the cost of the Apprenticeship Standard to which you’ll enrol onto.
  • Start your career journey on a path with lots of future potential. Many of our apprentices choose to stay at BTH upon completion of their apprenticeship. We often see our apprentices take the next steps in their career journey through higher and degree apprenticeship enrolments too!
  • Receive a contract of employment, a competitive salary, holiday pay and a host of employee benefits. As an apprentice, you are an employee of the organisation and will receive the same features and benefits as your non-apprenticeship colleagues. These include competitive annual leave, access to employee services and discounts from a range of high street retailers, restaurants and travel companies.
  • Become an integral part of the BTH family. As a BTH apprentice, you will become part of our community. You’ll forge new relationships and develop both personally and professionally through integrating into our diverse workforce.

At BTH, we have apprentices enrolled on apprenticeship programmes from Level 2 to Level 7, across numerous different apprenticeship standards.
