Blackpool Victoria Hospital is the principal hospital for Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
The Accident and Emergency department sees 75,000 people each year who include individuals from the 18 million people who visit Blackpool each year.
"The Vic", as the hospital is known locally, provides a wide range of inpatient services including maternity and neonatal care.
Specialist cardiac care at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre and haematology services are provided to patients across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Out of hours access at Blackpool Victoria Hospital
To help our patients and visitors get to the right place quickly and safely when visiting the hospital outside of normal hours (after 10pm), please use our dedicated out-of-hours entrances:
- Maternity and children’s services: Please use the dedicated Women & Children’s entrance near the main hospital entrance.
- All other services: Please enter the hospital through our A&E department.
These arrangements help our teams direct you to the appropriate area to ensure that you can get there safely and as quickly as possible.
