Welcome to the Women’s Health Department. The department is a part of the Directorate for Maternity and Women’s services at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and with a strong emphasis on innovation, clinical excellence and patient-centred care. It is supported by a team of experienced consultants, resident doctors, midwives, nurses, allied health professionals and additional clinical support services.
The department consists of an Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, Gynaecology Day Suite as well as a Women’s Clinic.
