on the front of this leaflet. Clifton Hospital is situated between
the towns of Lytham and St Annes just off Clifton Drive South on
Pershore Road.

Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS)

If you’re referred to hospital or other NHS premises for specialist
NHS treatment or diagnostic tests by a doctor, dentist or another
primary care health professional, you may be able to claim a refund
of reasonable travel costs under the Healthcare Travel Costs

Exercise improves health and fitness. Cycling and walking is free and reduces congestion and air pollution. Please secure your cycle/ motor cycle to the stands at the entrance to the hospital.

Car parking

Where possible, we encourage visitors to use public transport, taxis,
walk or cycle so that spaces are preserved for patients and visitors
who need to come by car. Spaces are limited and at peak times you
may have to wait for a space to become available.
There are designated pay and display parking areas for patients and
visitors as indicated on the site plan overleaf.

Registered Disabled Drivers

There are disabled facilities in this car park, which can be utilised
free of charge.
Please note, vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s risk.
Please lock your car and keep belongings out of sight.

Parking Rules

Clifton Hospital is a busy site and it is necessary to ensure that roads and entrances are not blocked.

The following car parking rules apply:

• No parking on double yellow lines or yellow cross-hatched areas

• All vehicles should be parked within the marked bays

• Only registered disabled badge holders may park in disabled bays

• A valid pay and display ticket should be clearly displayed in your vehicle when parking on site (excluding Disabled spaces)

• No exceeding the time limit in short stay bays.

Vehicles in breach of car parking rules, which are displayed in the
car parks, may be subject to a Parking Enforcement Notice. The
notice will carry a £60 charge, reduced to £30 if paid within 14 days.
