CINAHL:
This 60-minute session will introduce advanced search concepts for searching CINAHL. In this session we will look at keyword and subject searching, use of precision (proximity) operators, combining searches in the Search History and reviewing available options to save, share, download and export search results, as well as saving, editing and downloading searches.

This 60-minute session will demonstrate the use of the PICO (Problem/Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) framework in searching the Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection (PBSC), a core EBSCOhost research database. In this session you will learn how to create the strategy, apply wildcards, truncation and proximity operators and also set up search alerts to keep current the latest research..

MEDLINE:
Systematic Searching in MEDLINE. This 60-minute session will introduce advanced search concepts for searching MEDLINE. In this session we will look at developing a complex search strategy, incorporating wildcards and proximity search operators, running free text and MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) searches, and applying available filters to focus search results.

These sessions will demonstrate the use of BMJ Best Practice, an online clinical decision support tool, to answer clinical questions and support decision making at the point of care.
This includes our Comorbidities Manager, which supports healthcare professionals to treat the whole patient when managing acute conditions.
