We also offer a weekly one-stop neck lump assessment clinic, specialist bone anchored hearing implant services, Nurse-led aural care clinics, neonatal tongue-tie service, and skin prick allergy testing clinics.
We have links with the Audiology Department, Hearing & Balance Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Childrens Hearing Services, Sleep Clinic, Lancashire Blackout Clinic and Maxillo Facial Department.
Diagnosis and treatment of head and neck cancer, including thyroid cancer, is provided as part of a specialist regional network. We are a designated Specialist Surgical Centre for medullary carcinoma of the thyroid and accept referrals from throughout the region for treatment of retrosternal thyroid disease, undertaken with the Cardiothoracic Surgical Team.
