Try to have a high calorie snack in-between meals and at supper time.
These could be:
- Fancy biscuits (chocolate, toffee, jam or cream varieties),
- Yogurts (full fat yogurts, full fat fromage frais, custard pots, fruit or chocolate mousse),
- Cakes (gateau, cream cakes, muffins, cupcakes) - add extra double cream,
- Crackers (add butter and cheese, cheese spread, meat paste, pate or jam),
- Ice creams (ice cream, choc-ice, iced lolly),
- Fruit (tinned fruit in syrup, add ice cream, custard, evaporated milk or double cream),
- Snacks (crisps, nuts, sausage rolls, raisins, chips),
- Bread (toast, fruit bread, malt loaf, scotch pancakes, crumpets) - add butter and jam,
- Pastries (scone with butter, jam and double cream, croissant, pastries, brioche, flapjack),
- Chocolate (chocolate bars, toffees, fudge, mints, boiled sweets, sweet popcorn),
- Desserts (trifle, creme caramel, egg custards, cheesecake),
- Savouries (chunks of cheese, cold cocktail sausages).
