A wide range of professionals at our Trust are involved in diagnosing, treating and caring for people who have cancer.
Last year we diagnosed and treated approximately 970 new cases of cancer, providing the highest quality of services to our patients across the Fylde coast so that their immediate and long term health needs were met.
We provide inpatient, day care and outpatient services for all areas of cancer treatment, and host a Macmillan Windmill Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital where patients can receive free information and support from a dedicated team of clinical nurse specialists.
Our multi disciplinary cancer teams also work closely with other healthcare professionals across the region to ensure all our cancer patients receive the right care at the right time.
