We have numerous outpatient procedures undertaken in our Gynaecology Day Suite. This allows us to be able to provide care to patients in an outpatient setting with the facilities to offer local anaesthetics and pain relief.
This includes:
- Insertion of Mirena Coil
- Prostap Injections
- Colposcopy
- Biopsy
- Polypectomy
- Endometrial Ablation
- Bladder Botox
- Insertion of Pessary
Before your appointment, you can eat and drink as normal. For procedures such as the insertion of a Mirena coil, Hysteroscopy, Biopsy, Polypectomy and Endometrial Ablation, it is recommended to take simple painkillers such as Paracetamol at least an hour before your procedure.
