Since October 2025 the pair have juggled rehearsals twice a week after work alongside family life, and are now excited for the big show. This is Kate’s first performance with the group although she previously performed in a lot of shows before having children. Kate commented: “I can’t wait to be on the Grand Theatre stage again, what a privilege. Now that my children have grown up and I am no longer a dance mum, I am really excited to be back on the stage myself”.

Kate has even got her family involved, with her son supporting with creating stage sets and her daughter will be handing out programmes to the audience at the performances.

Aimi, having performed in shows previously, is very excited for the opportunity to dance on the Grand Theatre stage again and added: “I really enjoy all the fun, all the dancing and being part of the whole thing”.

Colleagues from their departments will be attending and cheering them on during the performances at the Blackpool Grand Theatre from Wednesday, 1 April to Saturday, 4 April. Tickets for the performance are available to purchase from the Grand Theatre box office.

The Trust wishes the pair a great performance.
