Perinatal Pathway (Open to Men and Women)

If you (or your partner) are pregnant or have caring responsibility for a child under 24 months, we are able to offer you our perinatal pathway into the service. Being pregnant and having a baby can affect your mental health. It's really important to get help if you're having mental health problems during pregnancy or after childbirth. Talking to healthcare professionals, like your doctor or therapist, can provide support and treatment options. Getting the right help can make a big difference in how you feel and how you care for your baby. Remember, you're not alone, and reaching out for support is a brave and important step in taking care of yourself and your baby during this special time.

If you would like to access our service please use the self-referral form.

If you are unsure about making a self-referral and experiencing low mood, worry or stress due to the impact of being pregnant or having a caring responsibility for a child under 24months, speak to your midwife or health visitor about a referral to the service. Midwives or health visitors can complete the Professional Perinatal Referral Form.
