We will support all areas around and assist with any questions you may have around policy management, policy research for evidence, and writing your policy in MS Word.

Bring the Title of the policy are updating or creating from Scratch, Policy author Workshop Practice hands on sessions (10 places) in Library IT Training room.

 

Location: Library IT Training room

Programme starts 09:00 - 12:30

1. Register for LKS

2. Complete the Literature search form using PICO & Book on Lit Search Course

3. Book on the Critical Appraisal course

4. Save correct template with updated settings & Complete policy title page

5. Add or identify all required to consult on policy

6. What other policies need to be sited in your policy (Using Copilot to ID)

7. Policy approval committee or group

8. How to use copilot: (a) Info Gov and Policies (b) Tool to ID areas (c) It can not write the policy for you (d) Clinical oversight

9. Book on a one to one session if you need more help

10. Save Materials to your individual Folders & Close by 16:15

Writing for Publication

This session aims to enable participants to have confidence to write an article for publication by providing participants with tools to write and submit articles for publication. Participants will know why we publish; where to begin when deciding to write for publication; know how to structure an article; gain some useful tips and better understanding of the publishing process.
