Breast milk is the bespoke food for a human baby. Breastfeeding ensures all the baby’s nutrient needs are met, encourages development, protects the baby’s and mother’s health in the short and long term, and supports a close and loving bond to develop between mother and child.

Regardless of how you choose to feed your baby, Blackpool parents can receive support from the HENRY Infant Feeding Service which offers advice and support for feeding and introducing complementary foods, recommended from when your baby is 6 months old.
