The Gynaecological Unit consists of Ward B, Foetal Assessment Unit, Gynae theatre, Gynae clinic and Colposcopy clinic.
There are five Consultants, two Nurse Practitioners, one Oncology Nurse Specialist, two Ward Sisters and one Practice Development Sister.
Clinics
Gynae outpatient clinics are run every weekday.
Colposcopy clinic runs five sessions a week.
Other clinics run by the department are: a Smear clinic – usually three times week, a weekly Urodynamic clinic, Post Menopausal clinic, Pre-op clinic and a monthly Polycystic Ovary clinic.
