On Thursday, 16 October 2025, a significant Safeguarding Partnership Event took place at Blackpool Football Club. The event was particularly noteworthy as it saw the launch of a place-based Adult Self-Neglect Multi-Agency Framework and Blackpool’s Neglect Strategy for Children, Young People, and Families. This initiative was a collaborative effort with our Trust's corporate safeguarding team.

The event served as a vital platform for professionals, stakeholders, and community members to come together, strengthen collaboration, and share best practices in safeguarding. The focus was on promoting the welfare and safety of vulnerable individuals through engaging sessions, keynote presentations, and open discussions.
“Attendees had the valuable opportunity to network, learn from each other, and explore innovative approaches to safeguarding within our communities. We encourage everyone to participate and contribute to this collective effort to ensure a safer, more supportive environment for everyone.”
