Caroline’s community group provide bear necessities for Swan bereavement team

Trinity Hospice volunteer Caroline McGrath has inspired one of her Chair Yoga groups to join her in knitting teddy bears for Swan.

Caroline is a specialist nurse who teaches Chair Yoga at Trinity and at the YMCA in Thornton Cleveleys. She said “I organised and coordinated the knitting at the YMCA to encourage others to support organisations such as Swan. They supported my mum when I couldn’t be there, she died in A&E.

“I’m so grateful to Swan and thank you to my group who continue to knit teddies”.
