BTH colleague to take to the skies to represent Great Britain in skydiving competition

Charlotte Taylor, an admin coordinator from the Integrated Community Services Directorate at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, will be part of the team representing Great Britain at the 8-way Skydiving World Cup.

Charlotte has completed an impressive 380 jumps since beginning her skydiving journey in 2021 and has become an integral part of the 8-way Formation Skydiving team, Cark8.

At the end of August, Cark8 will head to Teuge in the Netherlands to represent Great Britain in the 8-way Skydiving World Cup.

Charlotte said: “I started skydiving four years ago and have almost now reached 400 jumps in that time. It’s a weekend hobby that has progressed into now being part of an 8-way Formation Skydiving team, who are delighted to have the opportunity to represent Great Britain at the World Cup.

“Skydiving to me isn’t about an adrenaline rush, the focus it requires I find very calming and certainly forces you to live very much in the moment. I can’t think of a better way to keep life in perspective!”
