Tania Cockroft, BTH’s Community Education Sexual Health Lead, received the Friends and Relationships Subgroup Award in recognition of her outstanding work.
The awards are organised by the Lancashire Learning Disability Partnership Board to recognise how lasting change can happen if inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.

“Currently, we are working collaboratively to produce Easy Read Cervical Screening leaflets and have opened a specialist clinic in Lancaster in January 2026, to support anyone requiring additional support to get their Cervical Screening.”
John Greenwood, Deputy Head of Sexual Health Services, said: “Tania is very passionate about her team and its role to support better public health outcomes. This is a well-deserved award for all the work she has put in to strengthen partnerships with stakeholders representing people affected by health inequalities. We are very proud of her”.
